Welcome to Balkanshop Mursel.
The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Balkanshop Mursel.
We operate a physical retail store in Fellbach, as well as an online shop for Balkan specialties, groceries, beverages, deli items, frozen goods, and other merchandise.
Our online shop is technically operated by Shopify. Shopify only provides the technical platform. The sole contracting party for all purchases is exclusively Balkanshop Mursel.
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop, and – where applicable – to in-store sales at our retail location.
By using our online shop, you agree to these General Terms and Conditions.
By using our online shop, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or have full legal capacity to enter into contracts under the laws of your country of residence.
Use of our shop requires you to provide truthful and complete information.
You are obligated to keep all personal data up to date at all times.
You are solely responsible for keeping your account access credentials confidential.
Misuse of a customer account, submission of false information, or violations of these GT&C may result in the suspension or permanent deletion of your customer account.
There is no entitlement to create or maintain a customer account indefinitely.
Our products are described and displayed with the greatest possible care.
All images are for illustrative purposes only. Product colors, packaging, and labels may differ slightly from the displayed images due to manufacturer changes.
For food products, production-related variations in color, shape, weight, or packaging may occur.
All details about ingredients, allergens, and nutritional values are provided to the best of our knowledge. However, the information printed on the respective product packaging is always authoritative.
We reserve the right to adjust our product range at any time, or remove individual products from our assortment without prior notice.
Alcoholic beverages are only sold to persons who have reached the age of 18.
By placing an order containing alcoholic beverages, the customer explicitly confirms that they are of legal age.
We reserve the right to conduct an age check when delivering alcoholic beverages. If proof of legal age cannot be provided, we may refuse to hand over the order.
The display of our products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding invitation to place an order.
By clicking the button "Buy Now", "Place order and pay" or a comparable order button, you submit a binding offer to enter into a purchase contract.
The purchase contract is only finalized once we send you an explicit order confirmation via email, or when we ship the goods.

Orders containing temperature-controlled food products must be shipped using the designated "Refrigerated shipping" method.

We accept no liability for damages that arise from improper storage or use of the goods after you receive them.
A best-before date (MHD) is not an expiration date.
Products stored correctly can often still be consumed safely even after their best-before date has passed.
If products with a shortened best-before date are explicitly marked as such and offered at a discount, this does not constitute a material defect of the goods.

Obvious transport damage must be reported to the delivery driver as soon as possible upon delivery, and to us immediately.
Failure to submit this report does not affect your statutory warranty rights, but it simplifies our ability to process claims against the shipping carrier.
We accept unlimited liability for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.
In cases of simple negligence, we are only liable for breaches of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), and for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
All other aspects of our liability are governed by statutory regulations.
The above liability limitations also apply to our legal representatives, employees, and agents.
All delivered goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
